Paradigm Production Logo Ideas
As a group we have decided that our main production company will be called Paradigm Productions. The definition of Paradigm means a 'typical example or pattern of something.' This therefore reflects the repeated pattern which causes the character to kill innocent people.
Therefore, I have designed various logos for the production. Myself and Morgan both designed logos on which as a group we could compare.
Morgan's Ideas:
Design 1:
The first design Morgan created is interesting as well as eye catching due to the unique shape behind the text. To improve this, I believe that the text would need to be another colour to make it more eye catching as well as easier to read.
Design 2:
The second design created by Morgan reveals the definition of paradigm. This is eye-catching due to the repeated cubes. The text is clear therefore allows the audience to read the production company.
My Ideas:
Design 1:
The first logo I created is personally my favourite due to the eye-catching text as well as the shape above. The simplistic colour scheme of black and red makes the logo bold as well as relating to the danger within the film through the red above. The unrecognisable shape could reflect blood and murder.
Design 2:
I also decided to create a more simplistic and bold title. The clear and bold text allows the audience to read the production company as well as the red square reflecting the thriller genre of the film.
Design 3:
Similar to the design above, this simplistic design reveals the production name. The text is more intricate therefore adds interest to the piece.
Final Decision:
As a group we have decided to use design 1 to represent Paradigm Productions. This is due to the eye catching and sophisticated more professional design. Personally, I like this design due to being easy to read as well as interesting due to the shape above. The colour scheme is also bold which draws the viewers attention.

Role Allocation and Organisation
To assure we complete tasks one time, as a group we decided to allocate each individual roles to play and to allow us to keep focused as well as distributing the work evenly.
Shoot Plan:
- Megan will focus on the text included and will complete the release date as well as the title of the film.
- Nia will focus on the logo of the production company as well as the costume of each character.
- Morgan will also contribute to the logo design of the production company as well as creating the billing block.
- Cameron will focus on the music and sound effects which will be included in the trailer. He will also work alongside Megan with producing the intertitles.
Location of photographs:
Before we create our trailer, we need to take photographs of each shot to assure it is achievable. The locations in which we need to take photographs are:
- Bathroom- Nia, Cameron and Morgan will photograph this location
- School- All members of the group will contribute to taking images of this location
- Castle Meadows- Nia, Morgan and Cameron will photograph the location
- Town- All members of the group will contribute to taking images of this location
- Newspaper- Nia will take this
- Desk- Cameron and Morgan will complete these shots
- Bedroom- Nia, Morgan and cameron will take these shots
- Physiologist's Room- All will complete these shots
To take these images, we have decided to use Nia's or Megan's mobile phones due to being accessible and easy to take to various locations. Although when we complete the trailer we will use a camera.
As a group we have panned the locations well as which shots need to be taken in each location.
1.School- King Henry VIII due to each member of the team being accessible
- Shots- 5, 6, 21, 41, 42
- Shots-1-3, 55-57
- Shots-10-15, 44, 45-49, 51-55
